Patoka Lake Winery offers wines for nearly every taste...dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, sweet, reds, whites and fruit wines. We are bottling some wines, and others are barrel aging, but we will have more than fifteen varieties of artisan and classic wines including Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay, Riesling, Peach, Cherry, Blackberry, and other fruit wines. In 2016 we entered four wines into the Indy International Wine Competition, and they all won! Earning gold medals were our Captains' Chardonnay, and our Biker's Black and Blue. Our Riesling and Das Apfel Riesling both won silver medals. At the 2017 competition our Sunset Red, Lake Sweet, and Biker's Black and Blue were all awarded silver medals. In 2018 our Catawba won Gold at the Newburgh Jazz & Wine Festival, and our Lake Select Cabernet Sauvignon took Gold at the Indiana Wine Fair in Story, Indiana.  At the 2019 Indy International Wine Competition we won Silver medals for our Lake Indulgence Gewurztraminer and our Blackberry, while our Lake Select Cabernet Sauvignon, Strawberry, and Captain’s Chardonnay all won Bronze medals.

Sweet

Apple - Cold fermented to capture the fresh crisp aromatic taste of an apple orchard, smooth, sweet, and scrumptious.

Blackberry - A silver medal winner at the 2019 Indy International Wine Competition. Our Blackberry wine has an intense deep red coloring complemented by an aroma of fresh vanilla and a sweet sun ripened blackberry finish.

Peach - Sweet Peach feels like you are biting into a delectable fresh peach right off of the tree!

Sunset Red - A silver medal winner at the 2017 Indy International Wine Competition. Grape juice for adults! The grape aromas and flavors explode to tantalize your taste buds!

Blueberry - 100% Blueberry wine, cold fermented to capture intense fruit & color - sweet notes with subtle tartness.

Catawba - A gold medal winner at the 2018 Newburgh Jazz & Wine Festival. Sweet, refreshing, fruity and moderately acidic wine with complex floral and grape aromas.

Strawberry - A bronze medal winner at the 2019 Indy International Wine Competition. Perfect for a picnic, on the boat, or at home. Add fresh fruit for an exotic sangria, or enjoy as a refreshing spritzer.

Moonlight White - Sit back, relax, and enjoy the bold fruity flavors of the sweet Niagara grape. Best served chilled.

Plum - Take your taste buds for a stroll through a plum orchard with the sweet flavor of our Plum Wine.

Biker's Black and Blue - One of our artisan wines, a gold medal winner at the 2016 Indy International Wine Competition, and a silver medal winner at the same competition in 2017. Blackberry and Blueberry wines will race across your tongue leaving your mouth wondering what happened!

PBRx (Blueberry Pomegranate) - One of our artisan wines. A perfect blend of blueberry and pomegranate that will leave your taste buds wanting more.

Buzzz Berry - One of our artisan wines. Raspberry Wine with a touch of honey, our Buzzz Berry is quickly becoming a crowd favorite.

Semi-sweet

Cranberry - Ring in the fall season with sweet and tart flavors accompanied by the beautiful red colors of autumn leaves.

Cherry - A perfect balance of tart flavors with a cherry pie aroma.

Riesling - A silver medal winner at the 2016 Indy International Wine Competition. Aromatic, deliciously refreshing balanced wine with flavors like the nectar of apples, apricots, peaches & pears.

Captain's Chardonnay - One of our artisan wines, and a gold medal winner at the 2016 Indy International Wine Competition, and a bronze medal winner at the 2019 competition. A splash of Peach, the perfect balance of dry with a hint of sweet fruit.

Das Apfel Riesling - One of our artisan wines, and a silver medal winner at the 2016 Indy International Wine Competition. German style blend of Apple and Riesling wines balances acidity with fruit. Finishes with a taste of cinnamon!

Cran-Apple - One of our artisan wines. Celebrate the Holidays with a perfectly paired Cranberry and Apple wine! Compliments any dinner table!

Semi-dry

Rhubarb - Draws your attention with its pink hue, holds it with a slight sweetness, and finishes with a subtle tart sharpness.

Gewurztraminer - A silver medal winner at the 2019 Indy International Wine Competition. We have mastered the complexity of white wine fruits and balanced the acidity to create our Lake Indulgence series.

Chardonnay - a buttery, crispy refreshing french oaked white wine in our Lake Indulgence series.

Dry

Merlot - California style using only American oak and a passion for bold, full bodied dry reds creates our Lake Select Brand.

Syrah - California style made with a passion for bold, full bodied dry reds creates our Lake Select Brand.
